Made the exhaust flange today the "low-tech" oldfashioned way. By drilling lots of holes, punching out the center and then clean up the hole with an airfile. Then shape the outer edges with the angle grinder.. :)


All the cooling tin mounted and also petrol tank mounted. Waiting now for the new oilfilter and petrolfilter


All heads tightened to 70Nm.

The slightly modified splitbus nosecone compared to the 1303S nosecone it will replace when the Superbeetle transmission will be fitted into the Crewcab.

First cylinderhead on the tractor pretightened and the second also now getting mounted.

One pair of newly restored Zenith 40 TIN's. Now off to next parts...

Working on the diningtable with the timing chain housings... :) The factory sealants are partly off on the backside. Will be resealed with JB-Weld sponsored by www.anorrback.fi

The Zeniths compared to the Triumph trottle bodies. Same sizes on the butterflies.


Played around with CAD and designed these adapters. Now ordered and hopefully will arrive in a couple of weeks.


Finally got the exploded tractor wheel replaced with a better used one. Have to wrestle it back on the axle tomorrow... :)

The Triumph ITB's arrived from UK today!
